Abstract

This seminar introduces the notion of Temporal Ecologies as a design framework for understanding relationships between human and more-than-human temporalities, and explores how sensing, data, and interactive technologies might be reimagined to make these temporal relationships visible and actionable. It asks how technologies might move beyond accelerating and optimising human-productive activity towards supporting more ecologically attuned ways of engaging with multiple timescales.
